The Accreditation for Cardiovascular Excellence program is designed to ensure that accredited facilities meet the highest standards of care in Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization & Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (CathPCI)

An ACE Cath/PCI accreditation means that:

  • The facility is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality care
  • The facility maintains current best practices as recommended by professional literature and nationally-accepted practice guidelines
  • The facility only performs PCI procedures when they are appropriate
  • The facility’s post-procedure care meets nationally-accepted gold standards
  • Patient outcomes meet or exceed those of comparable facilities that follow medical best practices

*IACVL accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission:
The purpose of the IAC Vascular Testing accreditation program is “to ensure high quality patient care and to promote health care by providing a mechanism to encourage and recognize the provision of quality vascular diagnostic evaluations by a process of accreditation.” Through the accreditation process, facilities assess every aspect of daily operation and its impact on the quality of health care provided to patients.
