Noel C. Hunt III, MD, FACC
A Chattanooga native, Dr. Hunt received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee. He served medical residencies at Vanderbilt and Duke University Medical Center. After completing his cardiology fellowship at Duke, Dr. Hunt served as director of Vanderbilt's Coronary Care Unit and as an assistant professor at Vanderbilt's Department of Medicine. He also served in the United States Air Force as director of the weightlessness section at the School of Aerospace Medicine. His research there focused on the effects of gravity and zero gravity on cardiovascular reflexes controlling blood pressure regulation.

Today, Dr. Hunt continues his research on the cardiovascular system at the Chattanooga Heart Institute. Board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology, he serves as a clinical associate professor of medicine with the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine, Chattanooga Unit.

Dr. Hunt is a member of the Chattanooga and Hamilton County Medical Society and the Tennessee Medical Association, as well as the American Medical Association, American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.
