Brian C. Mitchell, MD, FACC
Dr. Brian C. Mitchell graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. He also received a B.S. in biology and a B.A. in anthropology, both magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee.

Dr. Mitchell completed his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Arizona where he also completed his internship and residency in internal medicine. While in Arizona, he received the Mary Lou Hemler Arnold Award for Heart Disease, Stroke, and Vascular Research. His research has included enzyme effects on the aging heart, Amiodarone use in pacemaker patients, and peripheral vascular disease.
