In Memory of Dr. Noel Hunt
Dr. Noel Hunt passed away on May 15, 2008 after an extended illness. “Dr. Hunt led with integrity which was one of the hallmarks of his work,” says Dr. Eric Conn, Chairman of the Board. “The legacy Dr. Hunt leaves behind is one of compassion, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.” Dr. Hunt founded The Chattanooga Heat Institute with Dr. Wright in 1977.
Founding Physician Ted Wright Retires
Dr. Wright will be retiring from the clinical practice of medicine effective July 27, 2008. Dr. Wright, who founded The Chattanooga Heart Institute with Dr. Noel Hunt, has been a leader in cardiovascular advancements in this region for the last 30 years. “Through the vision and leadership of Dr. Wright and Dr. Hunt, this practice has grown from two physicians to 22 physicians at four locations employing over 200 associates,” says CEO Paul Farmer. “CHI continues to have a reputation as the leader in cardiovascular care in this area. Dr. Wright will be sorely missed but we look forward to continuing his example of excellence in the practice of cardiology.”
